[유모바일(Umobile)-2] 로밍 호주에서 사용하기

호주에서 이사를 하게 되었는데 이사 갈 집으로 모뎀을 보내줄 테니 케이블 선을 연결해서 쓰라고 합니다.

상자에 표시된 색의 케이블을 연결하면 된다더니, 모뎀 상자에는 색깔 표시 따윈 없었습니다.

이렇게도 연결하고, 저렇게도 연결하고, 인터넷 회사 고객센터에 연결하여 문의도 했는데 결국 3일 동안 인터넷 연결을 못하고 급한 대로 Umobile사의 1일 로밍 플랜을 3일 동안 사용하게 되었습니다.

유모바일 앱의 Add-on에서 Roaming & Travel 부분으로 가면 말레이시아 국내에서 쓰는 로밍, 지정한 주변국에서 쓰는 로밍 그리고 그 외의 국가에서 사용하는 로밍(U Data Roaming 10&36  Booster)이 있습니다.

 

저는 지정 국가 외의 국가에서 사용하는 U Data Roaming 10  Booster를 사용하였습니다.

가격은 RM 10이고 250M를 24시간 동안 제공합니다. 빠르진 않으나 급한 대로 나쁘진 않았습니다.

 

유모바일 App에서 U Data Roaming 10  Booster 사용량을 확인할 수 있습니다.

구매가 완료되면 확인 문자가 옵니다.

 

주의할 점은 구매 후 24시간 후에 데이터를 켜둔 채로 인터넷에 접속할 경우 자동으로 재결제가 됩니다.

Based on my checking, the U Data Roam 10 Booster was purchased via MyUMobile App on 1/7/2024. It's important to note that purchases via the app can only be initiated by the customer and require the user's consent.

 

Therefore, I am regret to inform that refund for the purchase is not applicable since the purchase was initiated from your end.

 

Furthermore, I noticed you have been charged for U Data Roam 10 (RM10) and the charges is valid as the usage is more than 1MB on 2nd July 2024. I understand that this situation can be frustrating, especially when you believe you did not initiate this. However, it's important to note that the occurrence of such activities often depends on your device's interactions and communication protocols, which are beyond our control.

 

Please be advised that when you are near border or in a roaming country and connected to our roaming partner your account will be charged for International Roaming service automatically. This due to signal still can be detected. It is advisable for you to turn off your data roaming to avoid unnecessary charges in future. 

 

No worries, you may disable the Data Roaming on your phone settings to avoid being charged for roaming again. 

Please refer to the steps below:

Settings > Mobile Data > Turn off Data Roaming

 

In the meantime, kindly also disable 4G LTE mode from your device. E.g. set it to GSM/3G mode; (NOT AUTO MODE) to avoid the same issue occurring.
